Walkers ready for the January Thursday Walk from The Spread Eagle Pub, Bury St. Edmunds.

Just a reminder that, as you struggle across ploughed field up to your knees in mud, and along very wet, muddy footpaths, that spring is not too far away. Soon, it will be spring time, and we will see sights like this, at Nowton Park, Bury St Edmunds.

A record number of 16 walkers completed the November Walk, followed by a drink and a meal in The Ancient Shepherds.

The walk leader, Gerry Pavey, marches off with his umbrella, leading the group through the  streets of Cambridge.
