The four Permanent Trails starting from The Academy will be closed down on December 31st, 2016. The walks are:

The Higham Hobble

The Great Saxham Saunter

The Denham Dawdle

The Burthorpe Green Gallop

Members  enjoyed an excellent BBQ, at the home of Pat and Ray Shanks, who with the help of several club members, in particular Colin and Kay Smith, produced a superb feast. Members are seen here relaxing prior to the meal, and in some cases recovering from the walk that preceded the BBQ.

The club held their final winter walk starting from The White Hart, Wimbish, where their was a choice of a 7k, 10k or 18k walk. After the walk, members enjoyed their traditional end of winter series meal . Both the walks and the meal were organised by Pat and Ray Shanks, to whom all the members extend their sincere thanks. The members would also like to thank the staff at The White Hart for their excellent service, and for the high quality of the meal.
